Let's get to the basics first.
-Every new topic you make gains you 3 points.
-Every post/reply you make gains you 1 point.
-Every friend you add is 8 points.
-Every profile message you make is 1 point.

Now to promote more activity in certain areas of the forums there are forums where you gain more point for every new topic and post/reply.

Here's the breakdown:

-Suggestions and Feedback Forum: 5pts/new topic, 2pts/post/reply
-Council Announcements: 3pts/new topic, 2pts/post/reply
-Council Discussions: 3pts/new topic, 5pts/post/reply
-War Operations: 3pts/new topic, 3pts/post/reply
-Nanite Neutralization: 3pts/new topic, 3pts/post/reply
-Wonderkilling: 3pts/new topic, 3pts/post/reply
-Everything under the "Trading Place" Category: 5pts/new topic, 1pts/post/reply
-Introductions: 5pts/new topic, 1pts/post/reply
-Competitions, Events & Community Initiatives: 10pts/new topic, 1pts/post/reply
-Forum Games: 5pts/new topic, 1pts/post/reply
